The KS system is used to remove exhaust fumes from gas or oil-fired heating devices with an open combustion chamber. In this type of boilers, the air necessary for the combustion process is taken from the room in which the device is located. In turn, the combustion products are discharged to the atmosphere via the chimney. The choice of material, construction and technological processes used in production are aimed at adjusting the parameters of the exhaust gas duct to changing operating conditions and different exhaust gas temperatures. When gas or fuel oil is burned, acid is formed which is dangerous to steel. For this reason, the KS system is made of acid-resistant steel, which guarantees resistance to acid. Pipes and fittings of the KS system are produced in three wall thicknesses: 0.5 mm, 0.8 mm and 1 mm. They have pin-muff ends that allow for tight connections.

Each element of this system has been equipped with a special end type: pin - sleeve, thanks to which the connections between individual elements are tight.

The main advantages of the KS system include:

- quick and easy assembly due to the light structure of the insert and the use of tenon-muff endings,
- possibility of installation in an existing building by placing a chimney insert in a shaft,
- a wide range of insert diameters allowing for proper adaptation of the cable to a given device and shaft while maintaining correct operating parameters,
- the smooth surface of the elements reduces flow resistance and reduces soot deposition,
- rapid heating of the walls affects the achievement of a homogeneous draft in a short time and reduces the condensate condensation on the inner surface of the insert,
- high resistance to corrosion obtained through the use of acid-resistant steel,
