Description
The KP system, also known as the WPPS system (Coaxial Air-Flue Gas Duct), is a system of pipes and fittings for the discharge of flue gases from heating devices with a closed combustion chamber and condensation devices. Air is sucked in the space between the air jacket and the flue gas jacket for the combustion process. The flue gas from the heating device is discharged through the internal pipe. This conduit is made of acid-resistant steel due to the special exposure to acids formed as a result of the reaction of acid oxides with water. Additionally, seals have been used in the internal pipe, which are to ensure 100% tightness of connections and guarantee the safety of system users. Due to its coaxial construction, the KP system is economical in terms of the area it occupies. Instead of two wires fulfilling separate functions, we have one wire that fulfills two functions. The KP system is also available in a version with 30 mm stone wool insulation (KPD System). It prevents excessive cooling of the chimney walls.
