CHARACTERISTICS OF KZD SYSTEM

KZD system insulated pipes and fittings of exhaust system for open chamber heating appliances burning gas and oil. KZD system is produced from stainless steel of proper chemical composition that guarantees it's heat-resistance. Combustion of solid fuels is chcaracterized by high temperatures that cause heating of chimney duct walls. Steel composition as well as it's technological parameters have to guarantee the proper work of chimney and protect it from the damaging heat. Insulation made of stone wool with standard thickness of 50 mm (0,75 mm available upon individual request) is also heat. Insulation made of stone wool with standard thickness of 50 mm (0,75 mm available upon individual request) is also heat resistant (possibility of continuous work in temperature of 700ºC). KZD system is produced of following wall thickness 0,8 mm and 1,0 mm.

WHEN KZD SYSTEM IS TO BE USED AND WHAT ARE IT'S ADVANTAGES

KZD system is insulated chimney liners system. Regular thickness, that can be found at price lists, averages 50 mm. Upon individual requwat we are able to manufacture product of 75 mm thickness. The very first argument, that suggest choice od KZD system is open chamber heating appliance for solid fuels. Open heating chamber appliances are marked as appliances of class B according to the EKUG (European Classification of Heating Appliances). They are charecterized by uptake of surroinding air witch is necessary for combustion process. Exhaust gases are carried away by chimney duct. The necessity of chimney that is built outside the house constitutes another relevant aspect. As we already know, chimney they are built outside must have an insulation, which protects it's walls from over-cooling. External chimney draught disturbance. An insulation is to protect such az effect.

The basic advantage for KZD system users is it's safety, that is provided by pin-muff coupling. Currently it is considered as the most important argument among our customers. Possibility of chimney building without having a chimney shaft is another advantage. Application of insulation (mineral wool) with appropriate technological parameters, U value udner: λ=0,038 W/m*K and temperature durability: 700ºC ensures appropriate thermal insulation. Construction of chimney shaft generates additional costs and very often unnecessary modifications in building structure.

KZD system allows to avoid unnecessary work as it does not requre chimney shaft. It is an independent construction, properly supported and fixed to a building's wall with clamps. Attractive design is relevant according to it's external location. Glossy steel is a perfect material that is aesthetic as well as it perfectly reflects the light giving additional visual effect.

WHAT SHOULD BE REMEMBERED BEFORE PURCHASE OF KZD SYSTEM

When we are sure that in our building there is no chimney shaft, where the stack system can be placed as well as we realize that the only one way is to build chimney outside the building and we dispose of open heating chamber burning gas or fuel oil, then KZD system is an ideal solution. When we are decided for purchase, it is to remember that all basic information should be collected to allow selection of appropriate, system parameters. The most relevant information concerns the diameter of chimney liner. Insulated chimney consists of liner, insulation and external jacket. The diameter of a liner should be matched so, that it will provide right chimney draught. It should be adjusted to the parameters of heating appliance as well as to a stack’s high. The liner's diameter is already known. The next information we need is insulation thickness. There are two solutions- traditional insulation of 50 mm thickness or insulation manufactured upon customer's individual request (thickness: 75 mm). Usually in case of that system, the insulation of 50 mm thickness is sufficient. We know already the diameter and insulation thickness. Still we have to know the high of our chimney. The high of a chimney determines the amount of necessary elements i.e. pipes, fixing clamps or installation grips. Moreover we have to know the diameter of boiler outlet pipe and the distance between heating appliance and installed chimney. That information is required for selection of proper connection parts. If the diameter of a boiler outlet pipe differs from the diameter of chimney duct it is to remember that the reduction is necessary for proper diameter fitting. Collected data ensure us the peace of mind and we can be pretty sure that the chimney system we buy is completed and there will be no unpleasant surprises according to shortage of particular parts or their unsuitable dimensions.

CORRECT INSTALLATION GUARANTEES NON-FAILURE OPERATION OF STACK SYSTEM. PRACTCAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR LONG-LASTING CHIMNEY OPERATION

Installation of chimney system constitutes one of the main factor that influences on proper functioning. According to that it should be carried out by specialized team. First of all you should prepare the place for installation works. You should prepare also all openings in wall that are necessary for installing of heating appliance connectors to the chimney duct. After conducting above mentioned activities you can start working with the right installation of chimney duct. It is relevant to connect each element properly as any negligence is unacceptable in order to user's safety that is provided by tightness of installation. Chimney duct should be installed vertically. For this purpose fixing clamps every 2 m are recommended to be used. In case of insulated chimneys you should focus your attention on proper fasting of stack to the building walls. External chimneys are especially exposed to the external corrosion factors like wind or snow that interact with its structure. Owing to that fact fixing of the chimney should be resistant to that factors and protect it from falling down. In this case we have to know wall layers where the chimney will be fixed. It will protect us from such mistakes like fixing the stack to the non-supporting wall layer (e.g. insulation layer) that can contribute to collapsing of whole chimney construction. After installation, the last thing to do is to check the functionality of chimney system and to enjoy its proper and long-lasting operation.

KZD SYSTEM ENSURES:

- high quality

- possibility of selection of proper liner's diameter.

- possibility of chimney installation outside the building.
