KKD insulated single-wall system SPS (Air-Flue Gas System)
The KKD system includes chimney liners with 30 mm insulation. It perfectly prevents excessive cooling of the chimney walls. An uninsulated flue gas system operating in a low temperature environment may cool the condensate flowing into the boiler or even freeze it in winter. Additionally, excessive cooling of the chimney may lead to disturbance of the chimney draft. The KK system with insulation is used in the case of external chimneys or when it is not possible to run the system in the chimney shaft.
